Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director or to a person assigned by M.D
1. Manage all the employees involved with operations
2. Manage the operations department and analyze/review slow moving items/nonmoving/nearly expiry reports
3. Conduct internal HACCP Audits and submit reports to Management; take necessary action in line with HACCP guidelines
4. Product shelf life management and strict implementation of FIFO
5. Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery reports
6. Coordinate with Purchasing department on inbound Shipment/supply from vendors (Sea/Air freight) and manage the logistics for the delivery of consignment and storage at the warehouse
7. Coordinate with purchasing department on import of out of stock products and to ensure material supply in sufficient quantity and time bound manner.
8. Interact with various department to discuss & take necessary action based on the audit of physical stock & ERP data, sample requests, periodic shipments, product expiry, product return and other pertinent issues.
9. Assist the Store in the preparation of damaged product reports
10. Investigate order discrepancies with Sales & purchase team and other customer satisfaction issues to assist sales team.
11. Prepare a daily logistics plan for the Vehicles to deliver products seamlessly

Desired Candidate Profile Requirements:
Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate
Age Group: 35-45 years
Age Group: 35-45 years
• Plan and Control various overhead costs within budget
• Stock control across warehouses
• Excellent collaborative skills; the role requires the incumbent to work within SCM and across departments(Sales, Marketing, Accounts, Purchase et al)
• Leadership : team building and mentoring
• PR Skills: Liaison with all government, Local authorities clients & other stake holders
• Good knowledge of forwarding operations; local and international
• HACCP Qualified
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good planning, structuring skills, analytical skills
• Able to plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial position in Operations & Warehousing in Dubai & GCC
• Experience in Dubai with a food trading company would be an added advantage
• UAE Driving license Mandatory.
