PURPOSE
Ø  To Manage/Administrate the company’s equipment division for optimum and effective utilization of available equipment and manpower. Responsible to develop/maintain suitable strategy / business plan on equipment maintenance and operation to attain financial objectives and continuous growth of the department
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop/recommend equitable rental rates for the company equipment based on specific nature and duration of the requirement at the projects.
  • Assess return on investment of existing/future equipments and recommend replacement, sales/liquidation, lease or purchase options.
  • Ensure optimum usage of all equipments and vehicles, minimize and reduce idle time by constantly exploring avenues to generate revenues out of usage of idle equipments.
  • Monitor day to day status/developments of ongoing company projects and functions to ensure the maintenance and equipment operation schedules are met and works are performed proficiently and in a safe manner.
  • Maintain an active inventory of company owned vehicles and heavy equipments including Generator Sets.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all items on monthly rental/cost reports, explain or justify monthly variances and provide accurate information to the project and company general management.
  • Evaluate vehicles and equipment with respect to replacement due to age, history of repair and overall maintenance cost.
  • Evaluate/recommends the need for new vehicles and equipments.
  • Responsible for maintaining department’s cost within budget.
  • Develop department cash flow projections pertaining to department activities and equipment purchase on a monthly basis.
  • Authorization of expenditures and invoices of spare parts and sub-contractor services.
  • Conduct site visit/survey to evaluate the requirements and site working condition to increase productivity, lower expenses and advices safety issues.
  • Review and approval of external rental quotations.
  • Ensure department activities are in accordance with the company work procedure and policy.
  • Ensure the department maintenance and operation activities are in accordance with the company safety program and policy.
  • Prepare annual budget with estimate of future & parts cost, manpower payroll costs and equipments operational cost and new equipment purchase costs for submission to the company management.
  • Ensure experienced and qualified operators are operating the equipments properly and safely.

REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

·       Bachelor Degree in Auto Mobile Engineering
·       10 to 12 Years of Work Experience related to Equipment Operation & Maintenance.
