Experience: 2-6 years
The key responsibility of this position is to respond to support issues and solve technical problems as part of our vast systems, virtualisation, application and cloud infrastructure. You will be supporting our own corporate and customers’ IT systems, desktops, Windows/Linux Virtualised servers, VMWare ESX5/4, vSphere and vCloud infrastructure.
Under the leadership of the CTO you will perform system upgrades, infrastructure administration, fault management, and end user support. This is a mid-level hands on role with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an ICT service desk providing support to a combination of internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
• Configure, monitor and manage highly available Microsoft suite of services including Windows Server 2008/2012, WSUS, Exchange 2007/2010, Active Directory, Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.
• Configure physical and virtual systems locally for provisioning tasks, and remotely as may be required to respond and resolve faults assigned to you.
• Receive inbound calls and tickets from customers requiring support, and attend to these with the goal of delivering excellence within SLA guidelines.
• Perform daily backups and audits of automated and manual backup scripts
• Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange 2010 & Office 365 clusters (internal and external)
• Produce and action migration plans for customers from existing services to AINS hosted offerings
• Configure, monitor, and manage the core monitoring platform Opsview based on Nagios
Skills:
• Very good spoken and written English
• Proven experience in managing Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010/2013 (and Office 365) clusters
• Minimum certification of MCSA Microsoft Certified Systems Professional (VCP)
• Experience with external customers supporting 3rd party environments across multiple sites remotely
• Experience with Exchange and/or Office 365
• Experience designing and working with the Disaster recovery scenarios
• Experience with Microsoft clustering services and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS)
• Strong experience with backup and recovery environments
• Proven skills, experience and certifications required to address each of the key areas of responsibility
